After completing a Bachelor’s Degree and graduating with Honors in Computer Information Systems (Networking) and working for a short time in the public service it became clear that the “eight to four” was not for me. So, I pitched the idea of starting a custom and specialty cake business to my mother who always supports my goals and aspirations and happens to be a fantastic baker, and Zest Cake Bar was born.

Zest Cake Bar quickly developed a strong reputation for high-quality custom and specialty cakes. Our flavourful and delicious works of edible art are a result of the high energy and enthusiasm with which we work, attention to details, the use of good quality ingredients, regular experimenting with new and old recipes, and the willingness to learn new techniques in cake decorating.

We are always grateful to our customers who keep coming back for more and our friends and family who continue to encourage us and challenge our baking and decorating skills. Thank you!
